JPA Scholarship 2026 in Malaysia

The Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), also known as the Public Service Department of Malaysia, is one of the most well-recognized scholarship providers in the country.   1. Submit your application online via the official JPA portal.
  2. Take and pass the Psychometric Test.
  3. Print out the confirmation slips:
    • Slip Pengesahan Ujian Psikometrik
    • Slip Pengesahan Permohonan Program Penajaan Nasional Tahun
  4. Attend the Student Assessment Centre (SAC) if shortlisted.

Reporting After Graduation

After completing studies, students must report to JPA through the MySELF system:

  1. Visit myself.jpa.gov.my.
  2. Register for eSILA-ID and log in.
  3. Go to the Graduate Self-Report section.
  4. Submit required documents:
    • Copy of degree or confirmation of completion
    • Transcript of results
    • Proof of job application to the Public Service Commission (or other appointing authority)

Application to Work Abroad

Students can apply via the MySELF system if they wish to work abroad after graduation. Conditions include:

  • Maximum duration: 3 years
  • Must be in the final year of overseas study
  • Repayment schedules adjusted upon return
